Mabel y Fernando
We are very excited to have Natasha and Haris returning to Tango Feast.
They have been working together for a few years now. When they come together they combine a decade of experience of teaching tango to bring you a dynamic, spicy and sensitive dance.
With refine attention on technique, their workshops focus on bringing expression and elegance to the dance.
TNatasha describes her approach to Tango as follows:
“You could say that my energy, posture and embrace belong to the milonguero style, but I work with many elements of tango salon such as the dynamics in giros and elegance with the lines of the legs. For me the thing that prevails in dance is the connection and after the technique. The technique is very important and in fact my explanations are very technical, but all this with the premise that the feelings are above the technique and not the other way around."
At the moment we live, work and travel between Europe and Buenos Aires.
They meet a few years ago invited to work at a festival, some where, and they danced for first time, it was amazing, and they talked and they share stories, and with it was set the seed about one day do something together.
So after a few informal occasional teaching together, in 2016, they start to teach together and it has been really good. They have taught several time at Tango Feast and in other events, including intensive weekend focus in technique.
They teaching and performing has been well received and with amazing positive feed back.

She has been dancing Tango since 1997 and teaching since 1999. Between 2006 and 2009, Bärbel spent months in Buenos Aires immersing herself completely in Tango.
With deep knowledge in Tango as well as Feldenkrais , she will be offering series of Feldenkrais workshops, specially tailored for tango dancers.
Her Tango teaching she concentrates on smaller elements in tango from which more complex patterns are constructed. This opens up the possibilities of freedom of improvisation to the music and within the constraints of the social dance floor. She especially focuses on the body awareness and the quality of the movement so that the lead becomes clear and the embrace comfortable. Once mastered everybody can apply these techniques to any style of tango.
You can attend regular tango classes with her in the UK in Newland & Lydney.
