Group B Movement, expanding your vocabulary and fine communication

Due to the current situation, and the uncertainty around to invite teacher from abroad this time, Mabel and Fernando will be the only couple teaching, After the success on the recent Tango Feast, we will keep with the progressive series of workshops over 3 days for each Group B or C.
The classes are all intermediate advance level, however if you are not so experience still you would be able to do the classes and get a lot out of them and because you would work with your own partner, doesn't matter if you less or more experience, everyone would learn and hopefully raise your ow level


The main themes would Group B movement and Group C all about music, and how to explore more and more its potential. And you will get a lot either if you are at improver level as well as intermediate or Advance.


Movement
Expanding your vocabulary and fine communication

We will begin with simple concept of follower and leader moving in different direction, then to explore subtle curls legs within a side steps, great fro melodic section of the music, Turns with follower in both feet , could be done slow or with more sudden and dynamic, Finally combined in one our favourite new moves inspired by Balmaceda.
Despite it is progressive series, in all we learn element that can be use by itself on your dance

All about the Music
Some people might have done a one off session in musicality, or maybe rhythm etc, Here we are going to spent the whole Weekend. It is about going far and beyond from the idea of the feeling of flowing with the music, instead we will actively train to notice some specific aspect of the music and how to represent them with our bodies as tango dancers, as accurate as we could.

This is a hand on, practical class in how to match the sound with movement, and yet, at times, during the session, we will stop to listen to the music.

This is very useful work for Leaders and Followers, it is very different if a follower is actively following the Music as well as the leader, as it also make a big difference if the leader is able to navigate more or less accurate the landscape of the music and communicate clear what they are dancing, or only stay in the average flowing sound that a listener would perceive in first instance.


Participants can Join to the Workshops Group B or C. However, you are welcome to sign when you book or later stage for both
